Hello, 2016!

I've long neglected this here blog, but that's about to change! We've planned some great things for the new year. You could say that the theme for 2016 is “More!” More live music, more events, more casks, more specialty releases!

We’ve got some great parties lined up for this year, kicking it off with our Mardi Gras Shenanigans. Shake off those winter blues and come party with us on Fat Tuesday! We’re planning on music, food, and plenty of beads and beer!

Rumor has it that there’s a Leap Day event in the works.

For our next cask ale, we’re moving away from fruit and spices. This time around, we’re doing a Peanut Butter Porter! Keep an eye out for that to make its debut. Casks don’t stick around for long, so be sure to stop by for a taste.

I'd also like to introduce Lager X - an Experimental Light Lager. You wanted us to do it; we've done it. Lager X is a light, easy drinking lager. Think of it as an American-style lager with craft beer style. We've received some great response already. Have one and let us know what you think.

Want something to snack on with your beer? We've got that too! Our Taproom Treats menu just debuted last night. Try our Salted Beer Bread (think of a soft pretzel/beer bread hybrid), made with Maple Porter, a bowl of Vegetarian Chili, or some good old Tots! with your choice of dip. Looking for something light? There's also Fresh Popped Popcorn.

That's it for now... I don't want to give away too many surprises; it's only January.
